Staff was very friendly and helpfull.
In my opinion this is not a four star hotel by any standard. I understand that Paris is not exacty the place where you can rely that hotels are clean and nice but this was still a major disappointment. - room was dirty and crumpy * stains on the walls and mattres * shower was dirty * room was dusty - bed was extremely comfortable - When booking the rooms in Booked.net room rate was marketed as an ´opening offer´ * this normally implies that hotel is brand new which is not
The interior of the room is very ´French´, & with large window towards the street, facing a park. & the staffs is super nice & friendly. I especially like its convenient location, its very close to the Metro stop, & only 20mins walk to major sightseeing area.
It may have been many years since the hotel update the facilities, so some of it is quite wore out... e.g the shower is leaking & very difficult to close shower doors, the hair dryer fall off etc. May be its just this room.
Convenient for centre. This is Paris so room is small and expensive.Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were well cleaned and when windows closed road noise was eliminated.
room was small (Paris) Air con was slightly noisy
Nothing! Don't stay here - it stinks / musty, leaky aircond in rooms which soaked carpet, drip drip all the time. Used bin to collect water dripping. Nothing done despite several requests - ditto other guests who changed rooms, but no improvement. Staff not motivated, dirty uniform 3 days in a row for one guy at reception. No sign of owner. Tiny 'double' room, toilet seat 5 cracks in it, nowhere to put toiletries. A spit of shampoo/showergel in sachets, cheapest soap I ever saw in France. Can't shower w/out flooding bathroom. Dirty carpets, poor lighting on 30- second timers in corridors 1metre wide. Unless you're blind/anorexic/no sense of smell, avoid it. Must have bought/bribed 4 stars - seen better in 2/3 star hotels. Hotel must rely on once-off bookings from tourists - no repeat business needed. Disgraceful.
Evitez svp!! Klima kaputt/undicht d.h. wasser aufs Tapete, komplett nass...ohne Schuhe geht's nicht. Keiner hat reagiert (andere Gäste hatten Zimmerwechsel, ohne Besserung). Es roch uberall nach Zigaretten u. Schimmel. Personal scheiss-egal, rezeptionist (männlich) mit schmutzige Uniform 3 x Tagelang! Badezimmer zu klein, WC-sessel 5 risse, Duschgel sachet evtl 5ml drin...Dusch ohne Boden zu überfluten unmöglich. Teppiche überall schmutzig, Korridor 1m breit, beleuchtung mit 30-sekunde Timers....
Design of the hotel, bar fridge in room, comfortable beds, convenient location to opera and main parisian sites.
Black carpets on level one....hard to see the stairs when walking up them because of the low lighting.
Location is superb ... around 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord and 3 minutes from Metro.
Its shabby chic but its not a 4 star hotel.
location is very good, nice bathroom
room was rather small, very small wardrobe
Location of the hotel close to the centre.very comfortable and pleasant room.night staff very helping. nice hotel some little details have to improve.
No cleaning room sunday after 1 pm. safe box was not working properly.no ball pen and letter paper in the room. stains on the bed cover.house keeping staff do not knock the door before going in the room. internet wi fi not available all the time or very slow.
very expensive for this size and quality of the rooms
friendlyness of staff
small room on top floor, accessible through narrow corridors.
Location was quite good - between Opera and Montmartre: 10 minutes to Galery Lafayette, 15 minutes to Grands Boulevards, 20 minutes to Sacre Couer. There was a metro station (Poisoniere) close to the hotel (1 min.). Rooms were clean, but a litle bit dark, because walls were red and beds were black.
The bulb has burned out and there were no light in the corridor. It was very hard to open the door. We asked staff to change the bulb but they did nothing during 7 days!!!! Staff wasn't friendly. When we did cheque out, receptionist has included breakfast in our cheque that we didn't even have, though before he asked if we had had breakfast! He had a great envy to cheat us!
Location was good. There were 2 metro station nereby.
The hotel is FAR from a 4-star hotel. It is nor new, not renewed. I find the "special opening rate" a bit misleading. Although hotels in Paris are generally expensive, I really think that this perticular one is a bit overpriced.
not sure it was woth 4 stars
Very friendly and helpful reception, excellent situation in walking distance to gare du nord, nice and quiet room with a very comfortable bed. The room was actually not too small, the normal size for Paris.
The staff are excellent, friendly and cooperative. They speak different language.
The rooms are very very small. Hygeine level is very low.
